Delayed seizures?

Hi everyone,
I just wanted to know if the following has happened to anyone else. But first, I need to explain that I had a grand mal seizure in August 2012 and possibly one partial seizure before that date. After that date, I believe I have been having random partial seizures. I have not been to a neurologist because, quite frankly, I'm poor and do not have health insurance. So, I have not been diagnosed as being epileptic. With that being said...

The other day, I went into Zaxbys and the fans were on. As I waited in line to order my food, I realized that the fans were creating a strobe-like effect with the bright light bulbs that they use. So, at first, I didn't really notice anything weird, but after a while of waiting in line, I started to feel sick, which is a clue that my brain is going to fry and I will probably have a seizure. That's the only way I can explain that. Anyway, so I told my friend who was luckily with me, and she ended up getting them to turn the fans off. Thank goodness. I didn't really have a seizure, I don't think, but I couldn't follow my friend's conversation that well and I just felt "out of it." So that was yesterday.

Today, when I was talking about the theories behind planetary formation (don't ask. lol!) with my husband, my brain seemed to short out. I had no idea what he was saying. I understood that it was English and I understood that I should know the words, but after every single word he said, I would only remember a specific word he said at the beginning of my brain-frying episode. And, I have no idea how this makes sense, but I remember thinking that the noise (his words) "hurt." I'm not sure how a normal tone of voice can "hurt," but whatever.

So, my question is: was this a delayed seizure in response to the strobe lights of Zaxby's? Or if I had a partial seizure at Zaxby's that I didn't really recognize as being one, was this possibly a second seizure also caused by the strobe lights?

I am just very confused and I don't understand why this keeps happening to me. I'm pretty healthy for the most part and I don't do drugs or drink. So... anyway, anyone know?

The reason this keeps happening I suppose is that you haven't seen a neurologist and are most likely not taking medication which you should do as an epileptic.

A lot of seizures are caused by a combination of effects, strobe light effects in combination with certain sounds and a chance of temperature for example. This doesn't mean you can't have one out of the blue or during your sleep.

Only sensible thing to do is see a neurologist and, if needed, get some meds.

the doctor is the way to go they will tell you what form of seizures you are having. mine started a year and a half ago and they are still twicking my meds but i have tried cannibus oiland it don't work for everybody because it did not stop mine and if you go to the clinic they will send you to a neuroligest for a discounted rate
