Thanks for the reply...currently I am on Lamictal but haven't started any hormone therapy yet.  I've done some reading and plan on having a serious talk about this with my neuro at my next appt.  

Are there any specific questions I need to ask the DR's?   I think I am going to have to push the Dr to consider hormone therapy. He's a great doc (one of the best) but his opinion is that if you have a high enough drug level then the hormone levels don't matter. That may be true but side effects from a high lamictal level are pretty nasty.

I also have CE. I have been on progesterone pills for 6 months now. I take them every month as scheduled. This has worked for me. I have now been seizure free. When you contact your gyn ask him or her about this. My gyn has been great. There are also alternatives to the hormones. There is a peanut diet out there. Peanuts have the natural progesterone needed.
