Hi Madamzee. I realize your posts are a couple of months old now, but I just read them and wanted to let you know that yes, someone else has had a similar experience. My wife has had epilepsy since she was a child (onset ~12 years old). She managed to become seizure free (and med free) for about four years after using EEG neurofeedback in conjunction with a diet restricting simple carbohydrates. It was a glorious time.
However, her seizures returned after delivering our first child. She didn't have any seizures during the pregnancy - they started again after delivery. But subsequent pregnancy with child #2 her seizures got really, really bad. Nothing could control them.
The hormone changes involved with pregnancy can cause issues with the seizure threshold.
Hope you are doing better today!
