Hi!!

Can anyone fill me in on how having a seizure or being an epileptic affects auto insurance????

Re: Insurance ~ In most cases, your premiums will triple but that may vary depending on the frequency of the seizures, the type of meds you are on, how well controlled you are on the meds etc. but after you've gone seizure free for (in some states) 6 mos or 1 or 2 yrs (in some states)

In some cases, you can't even get any insurance.

I speak from 28 yrs experience, I've been down that road.

Hi calebvision,

One good thing is to ask your doctor if how can you avail for an auto insurace. Especially if you are still on treatment. Though try to contact insurance companies also try and call agents though that is very time consuming. I am now shopping for insurance and I get free quotes to compare rates and policies for me to have an affordable car insurance. Yes there are many insurance online and found this site that offers free insurance quotes and are connected with various insurance companies that you can compare the rates side by side. I checked on the net found it to be easier to go online when shopping for insurance. The place I went to is www.insurancepaylite.com they were able to give a quote that was acceptable to me in the speediest time. Hope this helps.

Its good to us who drives car and maybe spending most of our time in driving. But with all the things happening today. Accidents, tragedy and disaster. We really dont know what will happen tommorow or today!
