neuro appointment soon 1/18!!

hey everyone, what should i tell my neuro? everytime i go see him its just like a five minute appointment. he just asks if i have been taking my medicine and if i've had any seizures. i say no and thats just about it but actually im having trouble with my meds (keppra). they mess with my mood a lot like sometimes it makes me depressed, makes me angry, or it just makes me feel apathetic. should i tell him about all that? he also talked about having me take the meds for another year. i dont know if i can take another year.. =/

It is very helpful to know what ALL the side effects are of your med. My 13yo just had her first grand yesterday (prev. petite mal) and I had no idea if it was related to her med or lack of. Now I want to know everything I can! Don't wait until you're in my shoes to become informed. I think all Dr.s are in a hury; you pay enough that you should make them stay and answer any questions you have.

a little update... so i went to my neuro appointment yesterday. my neuro said that he is going to take me off the keppra! thats great :D. i was happy about it. i told him about what problems i was having and he just said it was the medicine. i will be taking an eeg soon and if the results come back normal then i will be off the meds for good. exciting huh? but if it comes back abnormal then ill go back on the keppra for another year but on a lower dose. i hope it comes back normal but i am starting to get this fear that i might get seizures if i get off the meds... =/
