results of visit to neuro

 I went to my neuro Monday and I was sort of surprised but okay with what he had to say to me. He told me that all of my levels for my medications I take Topamax and Carabatrol both. Which that is another question I looked on the Carbatrol site on the internet and it said not to take it with Topamax does anyone else take these two together. I forgot to ask him about mixing the two. Anyway he said my levels were within normal levels and he hated to increase them as I am having side effects as it is. I have to agree with him. He recommended that I go to some sort of epilepsy evaluation group at the biggest hospital in town. He said he felt he must be missing something and they would possibly catch it. I have caught some of you talking about 4 day tests with massively bad hair days. He even mentioned home tests that they do. Any way I guess that is the next step for me I am glad no more meds, my son is a psyhcologist and has taken several pharmacology classes and he says he thinks I am over medicated. I agree, but I cant get the Drs to remove any of the medications they say I need everything I am on.. When they go through and explain it all makes sense but I am on a ridiculous amount it seems. The new epilepsy evaluation makes me a little nervous, but I guess it is nessecary.  Thanks for being ears.   Monte
