having surgery next week

Hi,

I'm having surgery 3/24 and i am scared....right down from the surgery to the after effects. Could if effect my vision and how long will take my head and face to get back to normal?

Hey Happy!
I can understand why you would be scared...surgery is a big undertaking for anyone. Just make sure that you get all your qestions answered and know what you need to do to take care of yourself afterward, that should help ease your mind and make you feel more confident. Do you have anyone who can help take care of you after the surgery? And if you do, make sure they are clear on what you will need as far as care goes. All I can say after that, is to put your trust in your surgeons and leave all the rest to God, He will see you through. And you can always count on us for support.

Thank you for the nice words....anything is a help in my next few days. My hubby and oldest daughter will be looking after me.Ihave asked all the questions but it still don't make it any easier. So my big day is Tue at 5:00 am....i'll keep you posted.
