One Seizure- Wellbutrin related?

Hi - I'm new here and am hoping someone might have some information that may help me understand what happened to me recently. I had a seizure a week ago - first and only. I injured myself when I fell. Nothing too serious - mostly bumps, bruises, black eye, etc. My husband called 911 and I went to the ER. CT at ER was normal. Saw a neurologist 2 days later and had an MRI and EEG. MRI is normal, EEG results not in yet. The Dr seems to think the seizure was caused by Wellbutrin. I've been taking 450mg daily for six months. I totally get that Wellbutrin can cause seizures, but is it odd that a seizure would occur after 6 mos on the med?

Thanks, EvilFluorescents. Received news today that the EEG was also normal - no surprise there. I'm hopeful it was a one-time event and will try not to worry until if/when it becomes clear that it wasn't. I've been making myself crazy for the last week thinking about all the places I might be if it happens again. I need to stop those thoughts and quit worrrying until I need to. The neurologist I saw doesn't seem the least bit concerned so I guess I need to follow suit. One thing is certain - if it does happen again, she won't be the neurologist I see next time. :)
