Could I lose my driving privileges due to partial seizures?
I really don't even know if it's even called partial seizures. I basically just get these electrical pulses in my left arm that slowly intensify and then subside. I sometimes get the seizures on the left side of my face and on the left side of my abdomen; and never get them in my left leg. I have never had a grand mal.
I suffered some damage to the right side of my brain due to a brain bleed and stroke. My neurosurgeon acted like my brain damage was not a big deal and told me I could quit taking dilantin whenever I wanted. A few days after fully tapering off dilantin I had my first seizure in my left arm; scared the hell out of me and I then had a panic attack, lol. I couldn't walk but I still tried to get out of my wheelchair like I was going to drive myself to the hospital(the fight or flight symptom of a panic attack, I'm assuming).
Is this even considered a partial seizure? I only take 2000mg of keppra a day and my neurologist says that's a very low dose.
Thanks!
