My daughter just turned 18, she started having seizures in August of 2012. She has had multiple (2-5) seizures everyday since this started. about a month ago she started having what we first thought was stroke symptoms where her entire left side was paralyzed for up to 5 hours at a time. Which Dr finally said was Todd's Paralysis. Now starting last week she is so weak she can not even walk. Her legs wont support her weight (she only weighs 100 pounds). The dr told us today that is caused from weakness due to the multiple (grandmal like) seizures, he also told us today he does not think they are epileptic seizures but rather anxiety related. He said he believes she is truely having a seizure he has seen her seizures, but the eeg is normal. My question is does anyone on here know much about anxiety seizures. I just can't imagine her being so stressed or anxious that she would have multiple seizures daily. I am sure my 18 year old daughter is stressed but she shows no signs of that kind of stress. she is very open and outgoing and smiles and loves deeply...just confused! Am I getting the run around?
