hello everyone,
I am in dire need of help. I found this site with interesting topic so I thought I would give it a shot myself. I was diagnose with epilepsy in 1995. after several trial and error, we found the perfect combination of meds which is the lamictal and frisium. As most of you know, frisium has been discontinued and I was having bad effect on the equivalent but we did not remember why since it was almost 20 years ago. this is my first month on the clobazan which is the equivalent of frisium and I am having major withdrawal symptoms. worst of all is aggressiveness, impatient and feeling on edge all the time. I have been on frisium since 1995 so I really could use some help on how to deal with this. Also, this is the worst time for me to feel this way as my father is in the late stages of Parkinson which means I have to be very patient with a men that get up 20 times a night to ask me what he is suppose to do. I tell him its dark and it's time to sleep but I am already at the end of my rope and now my own medication is working against me. Any advice to calm me down would be appreciated as I do not have a neurologist anymore. he retired so my new family doctor is not the best person to help me. he would need to refer me to a neurologist and it could tame months before I could see one. I don't want to take it out on the people around me. please help me
