Dr recommended this cream for pain

I saw my dr today and since I cannot tolerate narcotics of any kind he recommend a cream. It cannot be bought in stores. It is used for

muscle pain, tendon and ligament pain.  He recommends it to many of his fibro patients.  It is call CT cream, made by Biomax Health products.

It is made by a chinese dr and has many herbal ingredients in it.  I sorta

looked at him like, "yeah right", but he said "what do you have to lose".

So he gave me the website and I ordered a jar of it.   Not terribly expensive,

so will let you know when I get it and try it. I am willing to try any thing at this point.  If interested, website is www.ctcreams.com.

Hubby bought this for his elbows. He has tendonitis so bad that he needs surgery and refuses.

Didn't do a thing for his pain. Hopefully it will offer you some relief.

I hope that this works for you Tootie, let us know, okay? I have heard about emu oil. It is suppose to relieve pain in muscles. Then there is something called bioflex. I think... My fibrofog is bad today.

Hope it works. It appears to be an analgesic cream. Those are available OTC in many formulas and do feel good for a few moments. I use a generic sports cream that is identical to the name brand ones. Hope this one lasts longer and wasn't too expensive for you to try.

You never know Tootie,

It just might do wonders. It doesn't hurt to try something different once in a while, like I said, I have a friend that swears by the emu oil. She wouldn't live without it.

Tootie, I heard about a cream recommended by someone on Rachel Ray's show.  It is called Topricin and I bought it at a local health food shop.  It has some homeopathic ingredients, but I swear by it.  I use it on fibro pain in hands, feet and knees.   I bought a jar for my 86 year old dad, too, and he said he gets immediate relief.

I use a cream as well.  Myoflex, it is a otc product too.  It doesnt make the muscle pain go away most times, but it takes the edge off that ibprofen doesnt touch. 

I wish you lots of luck (and relief) on the one you are going to try.

My oldest son swears by Blue Emu but it didn't do anything for me. Tootie with fibro you never know if something is going to work til you try it. If it didn't cost much it's always worth a try. This is all trial and error. So don't feel like a sucker. I have bought and returned so many things over the years trying to get relief from fibro pain it's not funny.

I received this CT cream the dr recommended and have been using it for a day and a half.  My rib cage has been extremely painful with the costo and after applying this cream, I have noticed a HUGE difference.The cream brings the blood supply to the surface of the muscles and tendons and that is what helps with the pain.  I also used it on my foot that I injured and the black and blue is almost gone. It has Arnica in it, which is from a plant.  It cost me 20.00 for a decent size jar, and so far, so good.  It can be used as often as needed, especially before bedtime.  I put it on my knees and hips and I have not had as much stiffness in the morning.  Anyways, it is helping me

What does it smell like Tootie??? I tried the Capzasin.HP and Blue Emu which didn't work but I'm always open to anything that works. My ribs and shoulders are a mess right now or I should say still since those are some of my worst places.

Whats nice about this cream is that there is virtually no smell.  It has peppermint oil in it, but you cant really smell it.  This is my third day now and I can tell you that my rib cage is 99% better!!!!  My hips feel better and this morning when I got out of bed I could actually walk without limping. This is such a non-smelling cream I can wear it and no one can smell it, like with Ben Gay.  I ordered 3 more jars of it this morning.

This is how it works for me and I am VERY VERY VERY HAPPY WITH IT.

I really think wearing a bra triggers rib pain for me. After wearing one for a couple of days I hurt so bad yesterday just leaning against the back of the couch hurt and laying down felt like my ribs were being crushed but today they are better. Didn't wear one yesterday and don't plan on wearing one today. Tomorrow I have to wear one. It doesn't matter how lose they are. That is one good thing about winter I can get by without wearing a bra more.

Tootie, I'm so happy that is working for you.  I visited the site and I may order some and see if it would help me.  My shoulders are killing me right now.  Bad time of year for me in Florida!  Thanks for sharing!

I mentioned the cream that I use called Topricin. I've had really really great relief with it. It too has no odor and is greaseless. You can get more info on their website at

We're having our monsoon season right now in AZ and while the rain is great for the area, the humidity isn't good for me.

Well, after 2 weeks of using this CT cream, I can actually say I am in far less pain than I have been in a very long time.  I dont know why it works, but it sure does.  I just ordered 3 more jars at a discount and talked to a representative about using this for Fibromyalgia.  He said he has countless women calling for this cream to treat their Fibro.

He mentioned the Arnica that is in it, which is some kind of a plant. And that it takes away the pain, doesnt MASK it, but takes the edge off.  It really takes the edge off for me, especially my hips, knees, shoulders and rib cage. I wish I could take a bath in it.  Just wanted to let you know my Dr was right again and am glad he was

I'm going to try and get my hands on some Topricin. My shoulders espically my right shoulder has been bothering the dickens out of me for weeks now. It just won't let go. I will definately do some checking on Topricin. I'd rather try creams any day than take a bunch of crap meds that don't do a thing for the pain. I thought about taking one of my meds I use when I have really bad cramps last night cause my shoulder was bothering me so bad. I didn't though. So it can be purchased OTH. We have a health food store pretty close by so I might check there tomorrow. It might be good for my husbands back. He has arthritus in the lower back.
