Hi family!!

Just wanted you to know that I'll be on a break the rest of the week. Life has just sort of rolled over me and I need time to regroup. Had an MRI last week and the doc was on the phone 20 min after I got home saying that the spinal area is noticeably worse and had already called a specialist. Ya, I have the pain to prove it too... eyes

Need to get my head straightened out over all of this in addition to the fibro and other stuff. I've had injections in my back years ago and don't look forward to any of it again. My problem is I don't slow down and keep doing more than I should physically. I'm sorta like that little kid that when someone says 'you can't do that any more'...my first thought is .. 'oh ya!?! just watch me!' Luckily dear Sherrine chewed me out royally which I truly needed. shocked I was told to take it easy on my body. Think it's time to listen. Thanks Sherrine!

The other mods will take over the daily Check-In so life will roll on...

Oh and ummm? did I Hear something about not knowing when to slow down? I never go through that. (Lies)

Well wrap your head around the new issues and then keep on truckin.

Well...I'm glad you listened to Sherrine!!!  I'm sorry that more problems have been added to your life.  I am hoping this specialist will be able to stop the progression of the arthritis in your spine.  While regrouping hon..think hard about how your pushing yourself just isnt worth the set backs you suffer. We all KNOW you can do it, but is it worth it?  I cant even imagine the horrible pain that must go with having osteoarthritis in you spine, but I do know that any back problems are just excruciatingly painful.  I will keep you in my prayers Chutz, and I really hope this specialist can help you as soon as possible.

Maybe some reverse psychology will work. Bet you can't take care of yourself and do what you need to do to get better.

Gosh Sherrine really cares about you- had a talk with you and NO chicken jokes! smilewinkgrin

I have arthritis in my neck and it can get s-o-o-o-o painful! Lots of rest OK???

I had a revelation this AM while posting on the Check-In thread (Sherrine is doing a great job, so don't worry).  I am going to call you Mama Bird, because you try to do eveything for us-even at the expense of your own health. sad   So, Mama Bird, it's OK if you take some time away from the nest.  Your little baby birds will be just fine with our "babysitter." :-)

 

Seriously, take all the time you need.  You know we will be here clucking when you come home. wink

Just reading for a few. You are all so sweet and kind. It makes my heart and soul sing. Mama Bird?...that is too darling. But ya, I'm sorta like that in real life. Mama Bird to many.

You do so much for all of us and we really look forward to hearing from you BUT you need to take care of yourself. I know what it is like to be the person to take care of everyone else and not myself and it's hard to stop doing for others. Please take care of yourself! Take a much needed break and let us be there for you!

You are the "Mama Bird" to so many of us-at least to me. :-)   No offense, but I feel like a lot of you more "mature" ladies are like a surrogate mother to me.  It's hard being so far away from my family, so sometimes I really do look at y'all as my "Mama's."  I hope y'all don't mind having a daughter who is 36, looks 20, feels 80, and acts 13 (on a good day). smilewinkgrin

 

But, YOU, Chutzie, will always be my Mama Bird. blush   You are so protective of your chicks, and you always get a sitter if you need to leave the nest.  I told you that we will always be here-clucking away. :-)
