Marlee, you couldn't have said it any better. That's exactly what I thought when I read it.
When I was 40 I was pleasantly plump, but had the energy of a teenager. From 50 on...............omg. I couldn't believe the change.
Enjoy it while you can girls. 40's was a wonderful time in my life. I wore my jeans with pride.
Now gravity has taken effect on everything. I always made a joke about staying plump so I could keep out the wrinkles. Well, now that I've turned 60 the wrinkles are even appearing through the plumpness.
You can't win for loosing, but I still make the most of what I've got.
I got up this morning, put my "Sunday go to meeting" outfit on, did my hair and makeup, even put on a little eye shadow, and went to church.
I counted my blessings and had a wonderful day.
The minute I came home though, it all came off and I got myself in a cotton gown and warm robe. Now I'm enjoying the rest of the day in relaxation.
Hope everyone has a great Sunday!
God Bless!
Shannon
