Hi all

 

Has anyone else got a pair of crocs?  The real one not the cheap imitation from wal-Mart..LOL  As you ll know I have ALOT of problems with my feet...burning, pain, etc.  I ordered me a pair online because the store here didn't have the RX ones.  I ordered the diabetic one.  I am not a diabetic, but I do have the burning in my feet.  Anyway they came yesterday and they are so cool.  The holes in them keep my feet from burning, and they are sooooo coushiony(SP).  I can't wait for work Monday to see how they do for 8 hours...LOL  I will let you know!!

Hi Missy-

I have not tried them yet but know people that do wear them and love them, at home, work, gardening etc. My 3 yr. old granddaughter included! Thought I would give them a try this spring- when out in the yard gardening.

hello! i have a pair of crocs that are the mary jane style....i like them a lot for just running around in, but for work they do not have enough support....i do have high arches and it causes more pain if i do not have good support....

i do see a lot of nurses wearing them so they must work for some people....

hope they work for you :-)

Hey Missy,

 

I'll be interested in hearing how the crocs work for you.  I have major foot and ankle issues too. I need some good footwear for the upcoming winter-snow-from-hell season.  I hope they work for you!

Hi there~  I work for a Doctor and wear scrubs each day.  I purchased croc type shoes at the scrub store called anywear (a black pair and white pair) for my uniforms.  I love them so much, my feet and back use to hurt all day and I know these help tremendously.  I end up wearing them on my days off, because they are just wonderful.  I bought mine for $19.00, from what I've heard real crocs are expensive.  ~Tricia

I have crocs and have used them for about 2 years. I am an Ultrasound Tech and work in a Hospital, so I am on my feet alot. The only thing I recommend is to wear socks with them since the texture on the bottom if the inside causes pain. The socks protect against that. Good Luck. :-)

hi missy, I have 3 pairs of regular crocs and I love them. my footwear has completely changed since I was dx, now it's all about the comfort. the majority of my shoes are slip on and I buy them a little big now. the crocs are probably the most comfortable of all my shoes.

hi tricia, I think I paid about 30 bucks a pair for mine, although it's been more then a year since I bought them and well, you know, I have fibro fog. lol

they have them now that are lined with fleece lining. I really want a pair of these, I live in AK, and would love to wear them year round! a friend at work has a pair and she says its like wearing slippers to work. those go for 40.

I wore them to work yesterday and they were awesome. My feet did not hurt at all and the burning pain was at a minimum...I would recommend them to anyone that has to be on their feet all day!!!

I have 4 pair of crocs, and I LOVE them. They are kind of ugly, but I will not wear anything but Crocs now. If anyone is considering them, do get the real ones, not a knock off. You can buy Crocs online at Zappos.com with free shipping. Maybe I'm not supposed to list the sellers name on this forum. We'll see if I get edited. Anyway, I have really bad back problems and the Crocs have helped me tremendously!!!

I got a pair of maryjane black crocs last year for Christmas from my daughter I don't wear anything else now. They are so comfortable. I wear them with everything, even to church. My feet hurt so badly from the fibromyalgia and the crocs help with that pain. Thank you to whomever invented them.

I have the clogs and the flip flops. Whe I have pain in my feet I wear them and it feels so much better.
