My 62 year old brother lived alone in the house we grew up in.  he has lived there since mom and dad died.  we usually talk every other day and for 2 days i was unable to get a hold of him for two days, so i went over and found him on the floor.  he died of a massive heart attack.  my anxiety and fibro are sky high, but i dont care about that now.  i just need prayers.  thank you all so much

Tootie, my thoughts and prayers are with you in triplicate.  Having recently lost my younger brother to Hep C, I know what you are going through.  We were VERY CLOSE and talked on the phone every single day for three years.  Right before he died, we were in the middle of seeing if I could donate part of my liver as we both had such a rare blood type, he was way down on the transplant list.  Unfortunatley, they would not consider me.  I am too old and have medical issues that would have put my own life in danger. 

I am so sorry for your loss.  The thing that gets me through it is some wonderful memories.

Tootie, I am so sorry.

It has been many years since my father has passed away but it was similar to what happened to your brother. My mom and dad were divorced and he was living on his own an hour and a half away from us kids. I had tried to call him numerous times and I almost drove up there but the weather was real bad (February in Minnesota). My aunt finally went to check on him as she lived close by. I think it was meant that I did not find him that way. He was 58 years young.

I am so sorry that you had to find your brother liike that. It had to have been horrible.

You are in my thoughts and prayers. You will be fine, try to relax, grieve as you need to, there is no right or wrong in grieving. And no time length on something like that. I know that this is hard for you. But do try to relax, so that your fibro will settle down. Again, I am so sorry.

Tootie, I'm sooo sorry. What a horrible thing to go through. I hope the anxiety and fibro settle down soon. Take care of yourself and my prayers are with you.

Tootie, words can't express how sorry I am.  That's how my husband passed on.  The shock is horrible.  But, you know, they didn't suffer and that is such a blessing.  It's just so difficult on the ones left behind.

 

You will get your strength back.  Lean on Him for right now.  You are definitely in my thoughts and prayers.

Tootie, I am so sorry that happened to you. I remember I was recovering from surgery when my doctor and husband at the time came in to tell me that my mother had passed away in her home without any warning. My heart goes out to you.

I am so sorry for your loss. Losing a loved one is never easy & when it is sudden and unexpected it is so hard to accept. I will keep you in my prayers that you are given the strength and peace to get through this.

I hope your anxiety goes away and you are able to remember the good times soon. God bless you and your family.

I am sooo sorry to hear about your loss of your brother. Losing a loved one is always hard no matter your age. I hope that your fibro doesnt take too much outta you . My family's thoughts and prayers are with you and yours.

I was so sorry to see your post when I logged on this evening. there are just not enough words to express how much my heart goes out to you. I lost my brother when he was 26 and I was 30 when he was he was involved in an auto accident. I lost my father and grandmother within five years of that. You will be in my thoughts and prayers as you go through this difficult time. Please try and get enough rest so you flaring gets under control. I promise that in time, you will be able to think of him and just remember the happiness he brought to your life and the wonderful memories you have and not the pain you have from losing him. Tootie, that is just awful. I am sorry that you lost him and that you found him that way.

Hi everyone...........THANK YOU ALL for the many prayers and words of comfort.  His funeral is tomorrow.  We had to wait for his daughter to fly in from Texas.  I didnt know this, but she just suffered a miscarriage a month ago, so shes having a hard time.  I am grateful that my brother saw his first granddaughter born.  His son lives here in Michigan, and he and I were at the hospital the day his "little princess" was born. So many thoughts, so many memories.  My younger brother and I are also very close.  We called ourselves the "three musketeers".

We gathered together last night to put the pictures together for the funeral, and it was comforting having the entire family together. There was a bit of laughter, and the tears flowed.  I know my Lord will get me thru tomorrow.  I finally slept eight hours, after no sleep for two nights, so I am feeling a little rested.

Again, to my family here, thank you all so much. Each and everyone of you have been a blessing to me and have touched my heart.  I love you all.

Tootie, we will all be there with you tomorrow. How sad for his daughter.

 

I'm glad you got some sleep and were able to have some laughs with the family.
