Hi All,
i've had fibro for several years and have most of the symptoms mentioned on the site. I developed fibro after a severe bout of Tolosa-Hunt Syndrome (basically a brain inflammation).
I have very little sensation in my hands. My fingers are numb or tingle. To know how something feels, I have to touch it to my face.
I'm used to dealing with all the pain and complexity of fibro. I hate it!!
After a career as a hosital executive, I'm now completely disabled and survive on social security and work disabilty.
Now suddenly I have severe pain in my arms. When I lay down to sleep, my arms go numb. After a short period of sleep (maybe 2 hours) I wake up with excruciating pain in both arms from my shoulders to my wrists. Hot, burning excruciating pain.
This is new to me....does anyone else have this problem? If so, what do you do for it?
