Just to update everyone: I was tested for Sjogren's!

Hey everyone, it's me, Jenna!!! Just wanted to update you all because I know I had made threads about my concerns before: I got bloodwork done and whatnot to test for Sjogren's Syndrome and everything came out negative negative negative! My doctor is aware that I do have excessive dryness in certain areas but she assures me that it is simply from the Fibromyalgia. Hmm.. Idk confused BUT I'm excited and happy! I feel a lot better now for some reason. I'm glad I have no questions finally: just answers!!

How is everyone else doing??

Hey Jenna,

Glad to read you have a negative diagnosis on Sojrens. I feel it nerve racking myself b/4 tests are done to "confirm" it is a Fibro symptom. I've been waiting to see the Infectious Disease doc for my blood test for this and that virus. I see him in 2 weeks. His son had CFS and has a lot of experience with FM, my Rhume referred me to him.

I've been busy today and haven't been able to jump on here much. It's been raining off and on but only mid to upper 60's (I apologize to all the cold weather folks). I did respond to your name change thread.....Is their really someone name Thirteen on House? I only make an effort to watch 2 shows a week, CSI Las Vegas and Desperate Housewives. :-)

Hahaha yes, it isn't her "real" name in the show, it's just what Dr. House calls her.. there's a little story behind it - has to do with her introduction to the show and whatnot... but thank you for responding. Good luck at the infectious disease doc!!!! Hope everyone is ok. Keep us posted<3

OH! and it's beeeautiful out today here, in eastern PA, no rain, just SUNSHINE scool and it's in the mid-40's but I swear I walked outside to go to an appointment and it felt like 65 degrees to me! It was beautiful! :-)

So glad you got a good report, Thirteen!

Regarding the weather report: it's only 16 here this afternoon, blowing and gusting snow. Ick! We leave for a week in Tx on Sunday and I am so looking forward to basking in the son like a lizard on a hot rock.

Thirteen, JCgurl, Jenna, I am so happy you finally got that off your mind.  I know it can get so scary to think there may be something else we will have to deal with when the tests get back.  Then when it is nothing (just Fibro of course) it does feel like a weight is lifted off.  You keep that positive attitude, it looks good on you.  Have a very good day tomorrow.  Hugs, Denise

Aw, thank you Denise! Yeah, I've been keeping a pretty good attitude.. I have all of you to thank for that as well :-) ..and today should be okay, my husband is actually going to our friend's house about an hour away for most the day.. I'm actually staying home by myself shocked shocked I think I need that alone time, as much as I don't particularly like it... but I shall let you know later how my day turned out.
