Hello my fellow Fibromites, it's me, Jenna!!! Just wanted to share a little giggle-worth story about
my husband and I playing Scrabble last night...
SO for you to understand things a little better, there are technically TWO ways in the rules to play scrabble, most people play it where you pick 7 letters out of the bag, but you can also do 9 letters... Hubby and I are picky and played both ways and don't like either LOL so we made our own thing where we always pick 8 letters, ya know, it's a little easier than only 7 but also a teeny-tad little bit more challenging than 9... lol SO I picked the very first letters out of the bag before hubby did, so I had ALL THOSE LETTERS to get, but guess what EIGHT letters I happened to get? Not remembering the exact order they came out in obviously BUT to make sense of it I luckily got out eight letters that spelled one long word... an "f", an "a", a "t", an "i", a "g", a "u", an "e", and a "d". LOL so not thinking even about the "d" I got so excited, and thought it was totally APPROPRIATE that I had the word "fatigue".. the hubby laughed at me, annoyed at the points I was going to get already, and on his turn I'm guessing he had an "s" so he says to me "is there a such word as 'fatigues'?" I've never heard fatigue with an "s" at the end, but I guess it would make sense if someone says "she 'fatigues' easily" or whatever, but I said to him "I'm not sure", thinking 'FATIGUED is I know..', looked at my last letter, which I didn't even register in my mind before and I scream "OOH I HAVE A D!!!!!!!" And put it down on the board, hubby throws his arms up in the air in disbelief hahahaha AND to make matters even better I built the word from the star in the middle of course like you're supposed to and to the right.. with the word "fatigue" there, it was ONLY ONE SPOT AWAY from the TRIPLE WORD SCORE (big points ) ..so once I put down the "d" it hit the triple hahaha 36 freaking points for Jenna!!!!! WHOO!!
OK, so in the end of the game he won anyway but HOW FUNNY was my fibrofog moment of not registering that "d" in my head and how much funnier is it even that I GOT that word... how appropriate, huh?
How is everyone today?? Hope you're all pain & FATIGUE-free
Much Love,
-Thirteen (JCgurl)
