Dear Denise. Where are you going to find a job from 3PM to 6PM and survive. I am on Provincial Assistance which allows me my rent, and $200 a month to live on. I need a job from 10AM-2PM. Unless we can find a work from home deal which is very hard because of all the "Work from home and earn 893.00 a week" scams out there, just send us 129.00 prepaid. Then nothing. And more nothing. The we call the Better Business Bureau, and they say, where have you been, we've been warning people for years about these scams. Well, I've been laying in bed wrapped in an electric blanket, trying to stay alive. My PDoc has suggested I apply for Federal Disability which is more money with fewer restrictions (you don't have to prove yourself every month, via the rent receipt,) however, there is no assistance for medicine and I have eight. Probably eat up half my cheque, then I'll be right back where I am now. boy, it's hard enough dealing with this DD w/o always worrying about how to feed yourself.
Anyway, I digress. This morning is a little better. I ate about 15 cherries (man do I love cherries) and a glass of warm milk and went to bed at 9:00 PM and almost slept through. I woke once to check to see if my son was still up around 3 PM as the TV was quite loud, yup, he was kinda up, he'd fallen asleep watching TV. So I gently nudged him off to his own bed cause the dogs sleep on the sofa and they would not settle untill he left. Off with the tv. So, ok, I made 1 piece of raisin toast, ate it and straght back to bed. Within 15 minutes (1 muscle relaxer later) I was asleep till just now, 7:3o and not so bad this morning. Not ready for the olympics though. My meds will kick in w/i forty minutes and then I'll take the dogs out. But, we are smack in the middle of a deep freeze, so when I go out I wear two pairs of socks, a set of long johns, jeans, teo sweaters, coat, hat, gloves, scarf. There should be a catagory in the olympics for "getting ready to step outside in Canadian Winters". I'd win by a landslide. Why am I here? Four years ago I could walk across the street in my pj's and bare feet any time of year, and have coffee beside the Gulf of Mexico.
