The only thing that helps me sleep and nausea is meds. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful. I have tried everything. I have been hospitalized quite a few times because I couldn't eat. It just sucks

I take 7.5mg of Amitriptylene (sp?) 3 hours before bedtime and I sleep like a log.
I don't get nausea much, but ginger tea (made by boiling ginger root) is very good. Sometimes I buy Gingerbeer (gingerale doesn't have any ginger in it).
Gravol (dramamine in the USA) makes a ginger pill (all natural)
Good luck!

I took the ginger gravol for nausea, I find it worked really well.
I have to take amitriptyline for sleep also, if I don't take it I don't sleep at all. Maybe talk to your doc? It's a common med perscribed for fibro related sleeping probs. :)

Ginger (
cookies or soda/tea), Preggie Pops, Emertrol and root beer help with my light nausea. If its really bad I have to take a compazine though.

Aloe vera juice will help some people with nausea. Mine's pretty persistent, so it didn't help me a whole ton. Just mix it with some juice to make it taste better. You can get it in most health food stores. It does exactly what aloe vera does on your outside, but on your insides! The only thing I've found that helps with sleep are meds. Amnitriptiline and Flexril were wonderful about
making me sleep like a rock.

Any sleeping med like Tylenol PM helps me go right to sleep and it's very difficult to go to bed with the pain. Before I got fibro, it would seem like TUMS actually caused me to throw up rather then help it. Even though I was very hesitant, I tried them and they helped immediately. I was glad I tried them. Hope this helps a little bit!

i just found THE best way to help me sleep that i have ever come across-a 2 inch foam mattress topper! i've wanted one for ages, but i've put it off and put it off because they are pretty expensive (we have a king sized bed, so a good quality one for us runs about
$150-$200), but yesterday we broke down and treated ourselves to one. i have to say i had THE best nights sleep last night that i've had in a very, very long time! the cushion cut the pressure on my tender spots and sore muscles waaaay down and when i woke up this morning, the only part of my body that was sore was my feet and ankles (they always hurt when i first get out of bed). i am so, so happy that we spent the money-it was so worth it! it's just heavenly the way the foam cradles your body *sigh* ok, i have to stop talking about
it or else i'll be heading right back to bed lol
anyway-if you can, i would highly recommend getting one!

Thank you for the tip. I actually used to have one of those on my old mattress. At first when my back was severely out of adjustment it was actually very uncomfortable but then i used it again once i got into adjustment and it was great! I recently bought a new mattress though and it was delivered tonight. I really hope it helps me sleep better!
