Hey Orchid!!
Glad you made it through!!! I knew you could do it!!!
Karen and Donnaeil mentioned wearing your plate while you are healing... they're right. I've been there so I know. You need to keep that in your mouth.. it acts as a pressure "bandage". You'll heal faster if you keep it in your mouth and your gums need to form around it. I know it hurts, but it's really important. Call your dentist to double check.
Donnaeil also made the suggestion of salt water rinses... that REALLY helps with the pain and the healing.
I don't know if you like sherbert but that's a yummy taste treat, I used to put it in a tall glass and pour 7-Up over it... mmmm-mmmm!! (I like raspberry best w/ 7-Up).
Another great thing about dental surgery is weight loss!!! My sister and I both have had it done and we both lost about 30 lbs!!! So if you need to lose weight that's a nice side effect.
I had to laugh about the good thing about fibro... I kinda felt the same way. Like.. if people think this hurts, they ought to step into my shoes for a few days!! Yeah, it hurt, but nothing like a bad flare, huh!?
Glad you're on the mend!!
Warm hugs,
