I don't know how wide spread this warm front is since I don't watch much news but this is crazy for Feb in central Illinois to be in the 60s this long. My body is saying "STOP" lady or you will regret it big time but the mind is saying "NO" Krissy deserves to be out there walking as much as possible while it last. The body is beginning to win but she has to have one more walk today. The storms is moving in and my head feels like it is going to explode and I haven't been thinking clear all day but oh well.

 

I hope many of you are enjoying this as much as I am. Snow in the forecast for Sat.

it's 61 degrees here today...i've been doing spring cleaning and even had my bay windows open for a bit. the fresh air was soooo wonderful! i know tomorrow i will be regretting everything i've done today, but i just couldn't help myself. beautiful weather like this just makes me want to get moving!

Yes!!! Its a BEAUTIFUL day today!!!  60 degrees!!!!  Its supposed to be 55 tomorrow!!  But big winds will move in - 50-60 mph gusts.  I hope I'll be able to open some windows and get some fresh air in the house.  I know its our January thaw a few weeks late, but I'm not complaining!!!

Enjoy it while we can!!!!!

I am happy for those of you who are having such wonderful weather.  I hope we get it here soon.  It is 32 deg F here & that is the high.  It was spitting snow earlier & tomorrow is suppose to be colder & more snow.  I guess this is what I get for living in Montana.  sad   But it will pass & Spring will be here soon.  I have never known a year that Spring didn't come.  LOL  Enjoy, enjoy the good weather but Marlee, be careful, don't overdo it.  Oh, how I wish I could open some windows & breathe the fresh air.  Hugs, Denise

It was a gorgeous day here today. I had an appointment that was an hours drive each way. But it was so nice that it became bearable. I will pay for it later, I always do. But the sun was out and I was able to roll down the window.

I hear ya, Marlee, strange weather! Like Patti said, your storms are moving our way in Indiana & sounds like the wind is going to be very strong.
I'm one of those scarry cats when it comes to storms, especially the wind & the thought of tornados. The lightening I feel like I can get away from, but no control over the wind. I may be spending the afternoon & evening in the basement! The people who oreginally built this house made a little shelter place in the basement off the kitchen, makes me feel a little safer. John has learned over the years it's a givin that I won't leave the house when storms are predictid. Probably back to normal February weather by Wednesday, but I have loved this warm front that came in, hopefully a sign of spring getting closer. ~Sande~

I just looked outside and we still have snow on the lawn. We're east of Seattle. It was snowing pretty hard here this afternoon. Didn't stick to the roads be still it's good B. doesn't have to work tomorrow.

I'm in Northern Illinois and it was mid 60's here yesterday and sunshine all day. I took the day off of work and spent it cleaning the outside...three dogs....need I say more? It's been brutal this winter, between the bitter cold and snow, was difficult to keep things clean. Needless to say, I am feeling it today. Also, raining here, expecting over 1" of rain and will be snowing by Saturday. And we wonder where these flares come from?

I just want to thank all of you, and let you know how much I appreciate you and this forum. Before coming here, I always knew that the weather was a huge factor in my flares, but had no one to talk to about it. Coming here, and hearing some of you talk about it, well you have helped me so much. Bless all of you,

Every muscle in my body is sore this morning but it was worth it to see the smile on Krissy's face, yes my baby smiles at me. It only took a couple of walks for her to learn the word "walk" and start crying with joy when I say the word. Now she is stuck back in the house again.

 

I do feel sorry for those of you that didn't get the break in weather we did. Last winter I had to go clear to NC to get the 60 degree weather. I do think the little break did lift my spirits.

 

It's only 36 days til spring if that helps any of you.

 

Sandee I didn't even notice the misspelling til you pointed it out. smilewinkgrin The wind doesn't bother me unless there is chance of tornado. It seems like the wind is always blowing here.

We have had nearly a week of warm weather, 50's one 62, but there is still snow on our front yard. Of course it was piled up about 3 feet high. Diane yeah

Oh yeahhhh! WHere I am in NJ, it is 72 degrees!! OMG, I cannot believe how gorgeous it is. Too bad I cannot stay outside too long. Wish I could just lounge outside all day! But I bet tomorrow it will end up being ice cold again, as that's usually how it happens.
