need help tonight

Chuzzle, that's the kind of pain I have with fibro.  I feel like I have the flu.  Chills and shivers accompany it.  My thighs ache tonight and it travels into my right knee. Don't even get me started on the arm flab...burns!

I guess it's just part of fibro.  I never have a fever when I feel like this although sometimes I sweat.  Sore and sensitive skin describes it best.

Hi Chuzzle, sounds like the fibro to me. I am still learning, but frequently have flu symptoms without any fever - aches and pains etc. Can you wrap up in a blanket with a heating pad? - or better yet, a heating blanket? Hope you feel better.

Yep, I have felt the same thing...right now I'm dealing with a different kind of radiating pain which starts in my back and goes into my neck, arms and legs.

Darn fibro, ya just never know how it's going to strike.

I'll pray for that you find some peace with your pain tonight.

Awww.. Chuzzle, this is all you need right now.
I think its a fibro thing. Try a warm shower, bed buddy and or heating pad.
Hope you feel better soon. If not call the doc. you're going through a lot right now and you might need something extra to help (medicine wise)

I definitely think this is "just" part of fibro. What you're describing sounds like me to a "T" when I'm in a flare. It feels just like I have the flu. Everything hurts and I get the chills and then I get too hot and my muscles burn and on and on. It's so awful and I am so sorry to hear that you're having a rough time right now. When I get like this, I pull out my warm faux mink blanket and curl up on the couch with tea and the remote control!

My heart goes out to you because I know you have so much on your plate right now and I'm sure this can't be helping. Please know that I am praying for you and I hope you start feeling better soon. {{{{{{hugs}}}}}}

Dear Chuzzle, I am so sorry to hear you're having this on top of all you are going thru. Yes, I get that same 'flu-like' feeling, also burning and numbness. It is so horrible. I do hope you are feeling better this morning. I would suggest the same things mentioned, cuddle up in a warm blanket - put in the dryer to make it extra warm. Use a Bed Buddy and a heating pad. Maybe a call to the dr for something to help w/ the pain right now.

I will continue to keep you and your DH in my prayers. And yes I am praying for a miracle.
