Are these muscle twitches?

OK so I've been having these interesting "movements" in my muscles, but they're not what I would have thought muscle twitches are. It's hard to explain what it's like...it feels almost like someone is pinching or grabbing a small area of muscle (say on my leg or something) for just a second, and then it's over. It's like a mildly crampy feeling when it happens. Right now it is happening in my legs and it's traveling...one minute I get the pinching feeling in my thigh, the next in my calf, etc. Again, it just feels like a really small area on my muscle is being moved- the pain doesn't feel like the pain of a pinch though, just like a little nuisance ache. So are these muscle twitches or is something else going on? Anyone had this?

I don't know what that's called but I get that too.  Especially when I'm really tired.  Most of my pain is in my hips, hands, feet, ankles, back and neck.  But I have had that same sensation.

I have another question that's along the same lines...  Do you get these weird deep tingly/itchy spots that are usually in the same place.. but for no reason, no rash, dry skin, sort of like an itchy twitch?  LOL itchy twitchy??

Maybe there's somekind of nerve thing?!?!
