Karen, please please please go. I'm in the same hopes as the others that the reason that you're not posting right now is because you're away seeing someone about
this. If it was a TIA, typically the symptoms will disappear within about
24 hours. The fact that this has gone on for more than 24 hours is an indicator that this is something more serious.
Really, I do hope that you're seeking medical attention. I've not been very active on the boards for a while now because I've had too many things on my plate lately, but I want you to know that you are one of the people that I seek out as a member/poster here. Your relationship with Jay is very similar to my own relationship at home, and some of the things that you have said have been helpful and inspiring to me, and I hope to be seeing more from you.
My hopes and my prayers are with you that this is something that will be able to be rehabilitated without MAJOR distress. And I know that it's scary, but you NEED to take care of you. Right now the tables need to be turned and you need to cease taking care of her & the kids. This needs to be a time that you take care of YOU. If you don't take care of yourself, then there may not be another opportunity for you to be able to care of them. Do not feel guilty, or selfish, or any of that other nonsense. If you're really not well, then you don't have much - if anything really - to be able to give anyone else.
I'm worried, and hope that we hear news from you soon.
Lacey
