Hello all: I have a big old part Amstaff and part Rhodesian, Dog, her name is Lenny. She is thirteen years old. She is still doing ok. A little sore in her joints so I give her Glucosamine, Chondroitin and MSM. She has travelled extensively with me, like 50 thousand miles and like me is happiest on the road. She is by my side 90% of the time. Also I have her protege, he is two, he tries to fill her shoes but they are pretty big shoes to fill. He wants to go everywhere with us but is very conflicted about vehicles. So, he tries to force himself to get in the vehicle but then is afraid. We will continue to work on this.
I also have a chum from my somewhat wild youth. He lives with his wife and children about an hour from here. I have only seen him 2X's in three years, since I came here to care for Dad but we email regularly. He always knows what's going on. He is the funniest man I have ever known, he is a natural comic.
Then there are the plentitude of people who came forward to assist while I was cleaning out 35 years of accumulated junk and filth from my parents old Farmhouse. He made sure all the heavy lifting was done by someone young and strong from the community. He hung in to the bitter end despite being in incredible pain from prostrate. he is an angel, as is his wife. These are my best friends right now. Nice question.
