Prayers for Chuzzle

I'm so sad.  I just got a note from Chuzzle that her husband passed on yesterday afternoon.  I know we have all been praying for a miracle but he is now with God and at peace.  Please keep Chuzzle in your prayers.  This will help give her strength.

Chuzzle, I know this is a hard time for you, but you have so many friends that are praying for you and I'm sure you feel those prayers.

 

I'll never forget when we thought my dh had lung cancer. That was when you found out about your husband too. 

 

You and I shared a song, I Can't Even Walk Without Him Holding My Hand.  That song is so true and your faith in God will see you though this sorrowful time. 

 

I feel like I've known you for years.  May God bless and watch over you is my prayer.

Dear Healingwell Family,       I am doing well carried by rivers of grace and the prayers of God's people.       We had two Memorial services for Ron, one at our church and the other at the Mission where he served his God. I sang his favorite song "It is Finished" and several people gave testimonies including our son, who called him his hero. It was a hard thing for Jim to do and I was so proud of him.       I told about how he used to turn out the lights on me and hide in the house at bedtime and jump out at me. He never got tired of this game and always managed to wait just long enough between times to catch me unawares. Our kids used to lay in their beds and giggle because they knew I was going to scream.       I told everyone that he faced death with patience, courage, and faith. I always tell people he was a patient man because he married me when I was a heathen and I'm still alive.       I told them at the service that one day when I was taking care of him I became sick and he knew it. He called me in beside his hospital bed and reached through the rail to lay his hand on me and pray for me!       I miss him but I would not call him back to a body that just wouldn't work anymore. My husband has graduated and gone home and I will join him one day. In the mean time I have the promise I made to him to keep. Linda it was good to read that your faith is getting you through this devastating time. As lonely as it can be without them we have to remember they are in a better place than we are. You are a very strong woman and I have no doubt you will carry on the good work you do. Bless You!!!

Linda, your strength amazes me! You have a calling with the ministry at the mission ahead of you, God will keep you strong. You are keeping the faith, to Ron and to the Lord.

I was reading what you wrote and thought, 'She should write her thoughts and share them in many ways.' I enjoy reading your feelings and ideas here, but somehow maybe even a larger area. You share your thoughts very movingly, and I thought perhaps you could find ways to share your words of comfort and strength w/ others. It felt as if you were holding my hand and sharing, I could feel the strength and truth coming right thru to me.

Pls take care of yourself, let us know how you are doing. My prayers are w/ you, of course.
