             IS this right ? a flair since Jan; and now it feels like another one !!!

  OK my my   "cognitive impairment "  is a mess now,,loosing my brain , can't

 think straight.  I know the flair spreads around and now it's in my hands,both

swollen , weakness and pain up to left elbow ; right arm to my sholder..

 

 The main flair has been mostly in my back to the point where i can hardly walk.

 It's in my neck , upper , mostly middle (( feels like i'm still being hit with a baseball bat )))

 and ,,, lower back ,  and hey ?? anyone have pain just under your breast ?? Now thats

like wow  / ( walking around the house rubbing my lower chest ' Now my boobs ; lol

 alsoooo my legs , feet , what you call it the back of the foot ...loosing words again,lol

   On Tuesday my doctor increased the Fentanyl to 50mcg ; and also new med,

 Norco 10/325 ...which is Vicodin 10 mgs and Tylenol 325 mgs.

 - nono -He knew i had some dilaudid at home so i had to take some and watch then

 - go down the toilet...OMG what a sin for them to do that.// cry

   Important ,,,he said i can only do easy  R.O.M . , NO exercises , rest with the

   heating pad < it seems to make me feel better > still have to clean house some tho..

    Q ???? Why do i have lack of appitite ?  Yesterday i had half a bagle , Thurs also ,

  Wed , 4 bites of veggies ,  Tues 1 small yogert....

??? Anyone else eat like i do ??   ,   Peace,Love,Happiness,Enjoy  Life !!   yeah

Hi. I am sorry you have been flaring so long! Mine has been all of March, and I am tired of it already.
As to appetite, I am just the opposite. I don't think I feel hungry, I just feel...hmmm, I don't know how to say it. But I just keep eating. High carbs. I am probably heading for a new dress size if I don't stop.
I always seek carbs when I'm flaring. I think it has to do with seeking an energy source.

Kat, if your hands are truly swollen, that doesn't go with fibro.  With fibro they may FEEL like they are swollen but they really aren't.  So if they are swollen you might have something else going on along with fibro.

 

The pain in the chest/ribcage area could be costochondritis.  It is quite painful but it usually goes away...at least for me.  My doctor has me taking ibuprofen with food for that.

Aww, KitKat!!  Sorry its been going on forever.. it always seems like forever whether its a day or a year, doesn't it, but when you dealing with it day after day, week after week, etc, it just gets OLD!!!  Then when something new comes along it only to confuse us that much more.

As for the chest.. lower boob pain .. a lot of us get that.  Its called costochondritis and it can get VERY painful!!!  I have it. When I have a flare it usually rears its ugly head somewhere along the line.

I know the fog and cognitive problems too... though we like to joke about it it can get to be very scary. 

I've been on again off again a lot of flares for about a year now, ever since I had pneumonia last spring.  Just when I start to feel better .. bam it hits me again.  So I understand the long term flare problem.  I hope you're feeling better soon!!!

I also wanted to say hi to Poodles!!!  And welcome to the forum!!

Kitkat,  many soft hugs going your way.  I hope you feel better soon, it seems to be the year for ongoing flares, for me as well.  I am living in my bathrobe & slippers.  Take care, hugs, Denise

I'd hate to hurt either of us for a hug, so how about some chocolate? LOL I eat kinda like you... not much at all, but we do eat different things. From what I've gathered, from ideas of other members and research, some medications, most actually, can decrease appetite, but so can pain and depression. LOL One thing I've done to help with icky weather blues was to hang up several spring/summer/tropical pictures. Some days they help and some days they don't, but I've had several compliments on a few of them. (Yes, yes, look at the pretty pictures, ignore the clutter hehe) I hope you get to feeling better :)

Oh, I hope you feel some relief soon. Fibro is so unfair, we do not deserve the agony.

My fibro is usually painful all of the time with occasional flares. Having one flare on top of the other is horrible.

Please take warm showers and use a heating pad. I hope you have someone with you who can help out.

 Sherrine , I have always had flaires in my hands and i don't know why.

 

  Tuesday i am going to MRI's of Thoracic and cervical ..

maybe i will get an answer then i Hope .

 On my way to check out that costochondritis now.

  yeah   It feels soooo good to be able to come here and chat about what

         i am going thru..My room mate is a male who I won't talk to about

         anything i am going thru or he will think I am whining..geezzz.

Hi Kat,

Just wanted to say I am sorry you're feeling so awful (and have been for so long!) I've been flare-free for about a month now, but today-BAM. It's back. I definitely feel your pain-mine tends to centralize around my back, too, and I definitely get the pain under the boob thing. When I'm in flare mode, it hurts too bad to wear a bra!

Please take gentle care of yourself and I hope you get to feeling better soon.

 I am crossing my finger that when you wake in the morning, you will

feel Muchhhhh better !!! And hey that under the boob pain, it seems
