LOL....MAN! I do sooo many of those things and I never thought it was the fibro. I love you guys!! When I have a new bruise pop up and hubby asks about it, I press on it to see if I can remember what I bumped into by how the pain feels...LOL

Here's mine....when you leave the dog outside, it starts to rain and you are SURE (this time) the dog is inside until you walk by the back door and he's standing there staring at you with those begging eyes and DRENCHED!

When every conversation turns into a game of charades with your family cause you can't remember words. When it takes two hours and  a gallon of caffeine to get you going in the mornings so you can do one hour of work. When your little space heater sits beside you instead of  your husband. When you can go from freezing to sweating in less than 30 seconds.

 

Getting dolled up to go out means wearing jeans instead of sweats and putting a bra on.

When I have to write down where I parked at the mall, so I dont get lost AGAIN.........
Putting my sons clothes in my husband's closet and vice versa.
Too sore to hang up my clothes, so they are put on a chair in my extra bedroom.........too sore to vacuum, so I spray Febreze so everyone thinks the house is REALLY fresh.......too tired to get the paper in the morning, so I wait until the mail comes at 10:00 a.m and just make one trip........
oh i could go on forever, glad I am not alone in this!!!!!!

Marlee2: You made me LOL because your post is SO ME! My husband finally understands that when I shout out some random word, THAT was the word I was trying to come up with 20 minutes and two conversations ago!!

When you type your password immediately after your log in name and can't figure out why the site won't let you in.

when you have a pretty good night of sleep...and are rewarded with the inability to move faster than a 90 year old, for 2 hours...at least.

when folding laundry is an accomplishment.

When you routinely use the panic button on your car's alarm remote to find it in the parking lot, even if you were only in the store 10 minutes.

When you stand outside waiting to be picked up for 15 minutes before remembering you drove yourself to work.

When you try to brew coffee but forgot to grind the beans before putting them in the filter...makes very weak coffee LOL

I'm sure I have more I just can't think of them right now ;)

I don't even want to admit to this one but here goes! Finding out that you have fallen asleep while sitting on the toilet.  It's happened more than once  blush  .

Omg, I've done that, too! In the middle of the night when I get up to P sometimes I am just so fuzzy headed and achy and exhausted, I find myself nodding off on the toilet. hahahaha-good to know I'm not the only one who has done this!

Is that not what the panic button on cars are for Ember??? Have you ever accidently pushed it and wondered what idiot's car alarm is going off before you realize it's your's???

 

You know you have fibro when odors nauseate you and you can't get the smell out of your nose for hours. DH put whatjacallit on cause he pulled a muscle and I wished I would have stopped him before he did it cause I will be smelling that stuff the rest of the day. I can not stand any kind of petroleum based odors either. I can't walk close to the auto section at Walmart or the smell will make me sick and I will smell it for hours. Can't stand to smell foods frying or be around anyone that smells like they took a shower in perfume.

It's what I use mine for LOL, and yes I have pushed it on accident and wondered about the owner hehehe



You put your keys on the bookshelf by the door cause you remembered you forgot to put deoderant on then come back and serch for the keys for 10 minutes finally get to the car and realize you left your bag in the house, go back in to get it, remember to turn the coffee pot off and somehow manage to leave your keys on the kitchen counter and spend another 20 minutes searching for them only to realize the fell under the pile of mail you've been meaning to go through.

And my boss wonders why I am always late when I live 3 miles from the office...

A few hours after you picked up a bowl of half eaten cereal and grabbed a towel to clean up the milk you sloshed, your daughter walks up to you with a confused look on her face, wanting to know why on earth there was a bowl of half eaten cereal in the linen closet. (Yup-I did this one today, as a matter of fact...)

You take your rubber boots off after being out in the yard and put them in the doorway and later that night you walk by the boots and talk sweetly to them and reach down to pet them because you forgot you put them there and think they are the dog!

When it is finally a nice warm day and decide to take the dogs for a walk.  You load them in the van, then see that the  mailman is pulling up so you get the mail, take it in the house, open it and sit down to watch the news.  open a coke, watch some more news.  Look around and there are no dogs anywhere because they are in the van...panting.  Bad mommie.  Bad, bad bad Mommie.

You load the dishwasher, reach under the sink for detergent, pour detergent into the dispenser cup, THEN read the bottle in your hand and discover you have just put CARPET SHAMPOO into the dishwasher! 


Yep.  This afternoon.  The real kicker...  I DON"T EVEN USE LIQUID DISHWASHER DETERGENT.  I use the TABS. blush

When you have lists of things you need to remember written all over your hands and arms in permanent marker. I had to add this one because Sharpies are now my most favorite thing in the world!

I do think we have the beginnings of a great book here...and it's all TRUE!! At least we can laugh because we all understand each other. And I'll add one more and I hope I haven't read it already...

Oooh the panic button for the car, haven't used it, forgot allllll about it. LOL My fave is making a grocery list then forgetting the list at home, calling home twice to make sure nothing is forgotten then forgetting something anyway. Or having to pee, get to the bathroom and forget why I'm there, so I go back to the other end of the house, remember and go back, forget again... yeah hubby urges me to get some depends >:-l

When you get out of bed and promptly run into the cedar chest at the foot of the bed that has been there for years not once, but every freaking morning for 2 weeks straight. And every morning you completely forget it's there...of course if I unburried it from the clean clothes I don't have the energy to deal with it might help. In the meantime I think I need an ice pack for my knee...again!
