eyes  Hi everyone, is there anyone here  from  Vancouver ,B.C. I am looking for a good fibro doctor for several years now and can't find one. smhair

if you go through the local arthriitis society they also deal with fibromyalgia and can let you know doctors that deal with fibro

thats how i found my rhuemy..

Hi Bella,

 

I'm in Calgary!  I don't have any resources to offer but is your family doctor helping you to find a good rheumatologist?  Pain Specialists are good for us to see too. If I hear of anyone in your area I'll let you know.

Donnaeil has a good point - Seattle isn't that far away.  Could you travel this far?   Anyways, here is a link I found:

It was a CFS/Fibro Dr who found my Lyme.  There is also a Fatigue and Fibro Center here too.

Since your in Vancouver may I suggest a visit to the Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine it is a training center for Naturopathic Medicne. My cousin who has the same thing I have steered me in their direction. I must say it has helped a little. They are located in New Westminster and here's their link.  If your on disability with a limited income you can get treatment quiet cheap.   Remember tell them you have a limited income.
