Hi AW! Yep....my lower back is where I hurt the most. I have had several MRI's and I do have some disc disease at L5/S1, but nothing that the spine surgeon thinks is causing me so much pain. I do have endometriosis with a history of adhesions that could account for some of the pain, but I think a lot of it is fibro. Some nights I wake up barely able to move because I have accidentally slept flat on my back. So I try to sleep with 3 or 4 pillows under my legs and hips so that I am never flat.
I have pain in my shoulders and neck, too. And my mid-back goes crazy when I do a lot of bending over. I have a TENS unit that helps for the spasms there, as well as ice and Flexeril (muscle relaxer). Have you tried anything to help with the pain? Some days it's a crap shoot.... never know what is going to start hurting or what it will take to get it to stop. Ugghhh...welcome to fibro-world.....
