No power, no money, majorly stressed!

So, my power was shut off today. I don't know what to do. Our caseworker from Community Partners was supposed to send her superviser out Friday to help us with this, but something happened with that, and we don't know what. Our caseworker was supposed to come out today, but she never showed. I am super stressed about this! I just don't know what to do. We have no money, and we don't know anyone who could help us out. I just really don't know what to do. We have to find a place soon where we can put our refridgerator and freezer food before it goes bad. Most of the food in the house has to be cooked, so I don't even know how we are going to eat. I need some support. Please!

I am not sure what advice to give except to say keep trying to get in contact with your caseworker. I am so very sorry you're going through this, though, and will be praying for you and your family and hoping this gets straightened out soon.

Thank you all for your replies. I appreciate the prayers and sympathy. I plan on talking to our Crisis Center and the Salvation Army tomorrow. I don't really have anything worth selling. Also, I am on the internet because I am at my father-in-law's house. He lives just down the parking lot from us, and we have been spending a lot of time at his house today. I am just praying that God will help us through this. My husband said that this is a rude awakening for him that he needs to try harder to find a job. Please, keep us in your prayers. If we don't have the $474.00 in about a week, then we will be evicted.

I do go to church, but not regularly enough that they would help, plus, I think they quit helping families for a few months. They only have "seasons" where they are able to help needy families, and they only help those who attend church regularly and tithe and things like that. We have a busy day tomorrow. We are going to make phone calls and talk to the Crisis Center and the Salvation Army. Trying to think of who could babysit the little one tomorrow so we can do our running without having a restless child.
