You KNOW you have fibro fog when...

You've been laying in front of the fan panting like a dog for hours wondering why it is so @#$$*&% hot in the house....and then you realize at some point you were cold and must have turned the air conditioner off!! Ggrrr!!!
Cant wait to jump into Sherrine's pool! It's too hot!

Or how about telling an expectant mother that back when I was pregnant for my kids, we didn't have all these sophisticated tests they can do now and I was just thankful they were born with twelve finger and toes!

Donna, are you from the Stewart side of the family?   Each time my parents and aunts and uncles had children, my GM would check all the children when they came home from the hospital. When I had my first child, my mother reminded me of that story. I laughed, but I also checked, just wanted to be sure. lol

I tried to turn on the fan to move the a/c around, I kept hitting the button, Nothing! I was so upset thinking the fan was broken, I finally realized I was hitting the oscillate button. Too many buttons for my comfort.  Not one of my better days. So sad!

Fibro Fog Moments

The buzzer on the clothes dryer went off. Go to get the towels out of the dryer and
all I find is a dryer sheet and the wet towels still sitting in the washer.

Try repeatedly to open the sunroof of my car using the garage door opener.

Leaving the shopping mall and go to the parking ramp to look for my car only to
remember after 10 minutes I did not park in the ramp.

Fibro Fog is really crazy.

Oh Joie- yes, there is an explanation. Don't let anyone who doesn't have fibro try to convince you this is "normal" for everyone...I have heard that and get so frustrated! Actually, it is "normal" for people under a lot of stress...there is so much thinking going on that the stess takes away from "normal" thinking and talking. Hmmmm..another link between fibro and stress?
OK I will really go to bed now and stop posting. Blame it on better pain meds....percoset does not make me drowsy, it keeps me awake. Going to be a long night....
