I have been feeling nauseous for a few weeks now, but never really gave it a second thought, I was thinking fibro... it's happened before. Now for about 10 (?) days, I've had the feeling of something stuck in my throat. It's not the kind of feeling that makes you want to cough, or a tickle. It feels like a small lump that is wedged, around the height of where your clavicles meet but further back. This also comes with a feeling of pressure down the sternum and a feeling of a hot weight in the pit of the stomach, just under the ribs. Almost like if I was punched. This isn't painful, but very uncomfortable. the sensations starts at he throat and works its way down, not the other way around. I don't taste acid, nor is there any burning. This started about the time or shortly after I had black diarrhea from the Naproxen I was taking.
I'm thinking gallstones, but I really don't know. I don't really trust my instincts with the way my anxiety has run rampant this last week.
If you felt like this, how long would you wait before you called the doctor? What does this sound like to you? Do you think I may be hurting myself for using a wait-and-see approach? If it is gallstones, can they go away on their own? I've gone to the doctor so much this past little while with my facial pain, I don't want to go again of I don't have to.
