I have had two c-sections. The last one was five years ago. When I had the first one, I had a mild allergic reaction to the epidural, but was told it was nothing serious. On the second one I had a much more serious reaction, but recovered fine. I have noticed though that even since my first c-section I have had back problems. I know this could just be from having carried my kids ( the last one was 10lbs), but the site where they put the epidural needle in has always been sensitive. If pressed it will hurt, though a different type of hurt than the fibro. I was wondering if anyone knows if fibro can be caused by either the epidural or the actual surgery of the c-section. I am recently developing an egg sized lump on one side of my scar, and I think it's an adhesion, but I'm going to see the doctor about it as soon as I have some $$ (no insurance). But anyhow I feel like this lump is somehow complicating my fibro problems. So does anyone know anything about this or heard of any research done about these things being connected? I've looked online, but I haven't really found anything definitive. Thanks for taking the time to reply here.
