smilewinkgrin  I got my SSD approved 2 weeks ago and I applied in July, the bad news is it wont start untill Jan 2010 and I wont get a check untill Feb. That Sucks but my wife and I are doing the best we can on her income and the food bank at our church and a good friend. My right hip is going to H and Im trying not to get a shot, Im haveing trouble with Doctors, even with good insurance they want what the insurance doesnt pay up front or they wont see me I think that should be illigal I need to have hernia surgery and I cant get it because I dont have what the insurance doesnt pay, the 20% so I might have to waite tell it gets so bad that I will go the the ER and get it that way.

Hi Painter,

I am happy that your SSD is approved. January isn't all that far away. And as fast as time goes, it will be here in no time at all.

I know that the bills are piling up and that you are tight on money, but just try to explain to them that it will be a little while and you are good for it. You will most likely get back pay from the time that you signed up. So that will be nice for you.

I hope that you are having a nice day and that you can make it until your money comes.

Thank you for the nice words, There is a 5 month waiting period and no back pay, and yes the bill are pilling up and most of them Dont understand in fact there going to turn off the Internet on Tuesday next week, so I wish every one the very best and I will be back online in a month or so

Painter59, If I can ask (my dr.'s and husband have been bugging me for awhile now to file for SSD), did you have more issues than fibo., or were you approved based soley on fibo.  Sorry if this is to personnal.

Hi, I have,,

Fibro real bad, and C hronic Insomnia, and Osteoarthritis, I all depends on your Doc. if he says you cant work and you have done the same job for more then 15 years you have a good chance, but they llok at every thing, can you be retraind , or does it hurt to do anything, the best thing to do is apply all they can do is say yes or no.

 when you apply,  and they call you on the phone make sure you have all the dates when you first saw your doc and the last time you saw your doc, the first day and the last day of every one and when you get the paper work leve no lines blank follow and read the questions and instruction very carefuly, if Im still on line please feel free to email me my e address should be in my profile I will be glad to help in anyway any time.
