Oh YES! It's like a guessing game each night when you go to bed. Hmmm, I wonder where the screaming pain will be when I wake up this time???
It's one of those wonders of Fibro...you are always wondering where it will be, how bad can it get before you get some relief, or wondering what it was like before fibro.
But, hard as it is to try to look on the bright side of life... it's not life threatening. Yes, it totally changes your life but with good medical support we can make a good life for ourselves. And with the understanding and compassion that abounds in this Fibro Family we all know that whenever we need someone to hold us up or just listen to us when we are miserable, that goal of a good life is much easier to accomplish. Nope, it's not easy to know where the pain will be when you wake up, but one thing you can always count on is we will be here to help you and each other through the pain. Mine has been awful in my ribs, neck and shoulders the past few days so may I join you?
Oh, keep that leg nice and warm and use a heat pack if you have one, or a heating pad. Warm muscles most always hurt less.
And...FIBROFELLA! Hi and Welcome to the family. I'd like to invite you to start a new sugject and introduce yourself to the family if you would, please. That way others will be able to greet you and especially some of the other guys. We don't have many men so we are mighty happy when one comes to join us. If you need any help maneuvering around the forum just speak up. And btw, I'm an armchair sleeper too. Some nights I spend the entire night in my recliner, other times only the last hour or so in the morning... but I've spent a lot of hours in that over stuffed buddy...and no, I'm not talking about
my hubby...lol
Take care!
