Please join us for today's Koffee Klatch. Take a few minutes our of you day to relax, smile and have a bit of fun. Everyone is welcome!

Here's a question for these cooler days we are having in the northern hemisphere... what do you put on your oatmeal? OK, so maybe you don't eat oatmeal but maybe you have another type of hot cereal. OK,cold cereal...lol But what do you like on it???

I love good old fashion oatmeal. Personally I can't get the instant stuff beyond my lips. I tried it two different time, two different flavors and both times, ummm, let say I wasn't able to swallow the stuff. <shudder> But regular oatmeal cooked properly is warm, flaky and delicious. I love it with a good dose of brown sugar and ice cold milk. I love a piece of well buttered toast on the side also! YUMM-O. Guess what I'm having for breakfast!

I put milled flaxseed and nuts in it to give it some protein, and dried fruit for some sweetness!

I like brown sugar as well, But I also like fruit. Strawberry or bananas are my favorite. Raisins and cinnamon also tase great.

Hi,

I put cinnamon on mine as it is so known to help regulate blood sugar. Do not have a problem with my sugar and maybe this is one reason:).

           Myself i like apples and cinnamon with milk in it. OH yeah you can forget a tall glass of milk.....But my favorite is pancakes with strawberries  and whip cream on them mmmmmmmmmmm.

I tried and tired to like oatomeal but could never do it until I got the cinnamon apple instant, used milk and cut an apple up in it, microwaved it then put a dollup of whipped cream on it. Who says you can't have dessert for breakfast? It's oatmeal isnt it?

Brown sugar and cinnamon on my oatmeal! One of my three favorite cereals, all of which don't always agree with my colitis.

Cinnamon, brown sugar, butter and evaporated milk and I soak buttered toast in it lol ;) FATTENING!

I like Plain Oatmeal.. but use boiling water from a kettle instead of putting in a microwave.. and then add raisins, cinnamon and cream or maple syrup and brown sugar

If i don't have plain than usually maple and brown sugar

Oatmeal: I cook it with raisins and a pinch or two of salt; then add brown sugar or honey, a dollop of butter, and a dollop of whole milk. I also really like Cream of Wheat cooked with salt and whole milk, then eaten with raisins, a pinch of sugar, and a dollop of butter.
