Good Morning Everyone,

 

It's just me, I know I'm not always around, I lurk a lot...but I just had to say that it is a pretty chilly day here in SE PA 43 degrees and my body is feeling it

Even my fingers are sore...

Not just you. My fingers are so sore lately that I cant stand to use my hands for anything. Just touching the keys lightly on this keyboard hurts right now.

We have been having cold damp weather for a while. I have been having to take more pain medication (I don't take as much as I am allowed usually) to get through this. It is suppose to warm up in a few days. I am looking forward to that. But I know what is just around the corner. That nasty four letter word...SNOW!!!!!!!!!! I am not looking forward to winter this year. Each year gets harder for me. And I am working now, so I have to go out into it. Wish me luck.

Hope that you feel better soon. I know it is hard to type when your hands ache.

Jhemi- You are so right, it really does get uncomfortable when you try to type. I never really had problems with my fingers before these last few months.

 

getting by- Oh say it isn't so, snow...I guess depending on where everyone is located, some have already gotten some snow. Not looking forward to that either. It's nice when its the weekend and I don't have to go out in it and I can look at it from the window inside my warm house. I hope it is a mild winter for us all. Much luck during those trying times.

 

 

I know that I have to take more tramadol during the day to make it thru my work day. But I also know tht I'm blessed to have a job and to be able to keep getting up everyday and working.

Hi guys,

   I'm not sure what the outside temp was this morning but there was a little ice on my windshield.

I haven't turned on the heater yet as it's a balmy 52 in the house today (with the dryer running).

Here's to hoping I can put it off for a while longer as kero is so expensive. Wonderful central NY weather.

I'm sitting here on the couch with my hoodie and sneaks. The most problem is when my neck gets

cold it hurts cause of the arthritis. I haven't broke out my "stump protector" (scarf) yet.

You are sooooo right, Monica! Once fall sets in the pain goes up! We also live in a cool,damp climate, (western Washington) 3 seasons of the years so we're settled in for the next 6 months. Which reminds me...I went shopping today and haven't started the wood stove. Time to build a fire. Oh, one thing I do that helps a little is to turn on my electric blanket about an hour before getting into bed. ahhhh

We are suppose to get a few warmer days towards the weekend.  I am in Michigan.  But who knows after that?

It has been cold and damp here lately, but yesterday the sun kept trying to peak out.  Not enough for me though. 

I am concerned about work this winter with the cold.  But I am going to take it one day at a time and see what I can do.  This is my first job in seven years.  I have been there since June 1st.  One day at a time, that is all that I can hope for.

Hope EVERYone wears gloves when they go out in the cold...and a scarf...and hat!! oh...yaktrax...it's a metal mesh like material that slips over any shoe...found it on the net and it's a lifesaver in the ice and snow...a must for us fibromites!! www.yaktrax.com I believe.

We started to get a light snowfall today and I am just aching. My fingertips are so sore today. My neck is in spasm from my 2007 car accident and I REALLY feel it today. I got home and ran for my bed buddy!

It is in the 70s here! Not looking forward to the winter. Our gas/electric bill gets over $600 a month, so we cut way back last winter and bought firewood and used that. It was warm in one room and freezing cold everywhere else. My hubby kept saying, what beautiful weather! He would live in a nudist colony in Alaska!
