I just wondered what the dosage for tramadol is that anyone takes?

Not enough, apparently, because I still really, really hurt!
I take a total of two 50mg pills in halves spaced out throughout the day. I could easily use 3x that much. I have a rheumatologist appointment tomorrow and we are definitely discussing meds as one of the subjects.

I used to get some relief taking about
25mg (1/2 pill) every 3 or 4 hours. Now, after about
1 1/2 years on it, I need about
50 mg every 4 or 5 hours. I can't take more than 2/day because I am supposed to stretch out 30 for a month and I'm only supposed to take them for two weeks out of the month.
My doc prescribed tramadol for endometriosis and adhesion pain, not for fibro pain. I find it does take the edge off my fibro pain enough to really improve my quality of life.

The only thing that helps is when I take 3 of 50 miligram pills.

When I was taking it, it was two 50mg every 6 hrs, but by the end I think I could have taken 3-4 and still not gotten much relief though I was taking it with Tylenol. Dr switched me to Lortab 5's about
1 month ago. Works much better and I take much less.

I take up to 100mg 3x daily. If I'm feeling well, I don't take this much. Sometimes this isn't enough and I have to take Vicodin instead.

I take 2 or 3 50 mg tramadol a day, but need it less if I remember to take my Neurontin 100 mg TID. Those take care of enough muscle and tendon pain to make things bearable, but don't touch the arthritis. I take 1 Clinoril 200 mg for that.
