One time My Dear Hubby though he is sweet, generous and loving started to doubt my 3 month long fibro flareup which was a humdinger if you know what I mean. I figured you would! :) Well anyway I found this searching the internet and emailed it to him at work. Hubby emailed back and just said I LOVE YOU!!!
Maybe you can share it with people to help them understand your FM and symptoms.

what an informative page! Thank you so much. I knjow of so many people, including my husband that seem to have doubts ....even though no one every says anything but I can see it all over their faces. I just might send this to them...

thanks for sharing! my hubby thinks i'm "just depressed" (as if depression isn't disabling enough!) He gets soooo offended when I can't stand for him to rub my shoulders or touch me anywhere ... he takes it personally even though I have tried a million times to tell him that touching me just plain HURTS. maybe if he reads this page, he'll get a different perspective.

Hi Jeni, and welcome to our fibro family. Yes the Savella had been helpful. I have been on it since
mid July and am taking 50mg 2x daily. Because it is a SNRI it does help with keeping my serotonin
level up. I am not pain free, but it does help. In the past there has been a lot of discussion about
Savella. If you go up to the top of page one, you can type Savella in the search and old posts will
come up with Savella discussion. I really hope Savella works for you too!

Jeni, I encourage you to start a new post to introduce yourself. I am sure there are others who would
like to welcome you. This is a great forum,lots of friendly fibromites who listen, share and give
great support. Glad you have joined us!

ETA : I have to say, I'm so sorry to hear of people's hubbies who doubt their pain. My hubby, when I was too tired to just pick up the phone & call yet another Dr. to get answers, he would call & make appointments for me. He sometimes seems to want to help me more than I want to help myself. I've seen him get angry with Dr's who he thinks aren't listening to me or who seemed like they were dismissive. He has been my advocate & has gone above & beyond to try to help me. I don't know what I'd do without him. Maybe my hubby should talk to your hubbies ! LOL
