hello all,

anyone here do arts and crafts?? i love crafts!! i do Origami , clay modeling with homemade clay, collage pendants,3d paper crafts,

im looking for fellow fibro arts and craft people to make friends with what arts and crafts do you do?

used to do crafts and Art stuff.. I loved painting , I did manly Indian kachina dolls on flag stone back in the day and would sell at the local dinners up north. and such.
also loved beading .. bracelets ear rings etc.. but my hands wont let me do this any more...
used to carve Wood and stone too... I have a walking Stick that needs to be finished and one more to make yet.. but once again never find time to do this.. as this requires a lot of clean up after words. very messy .
used to sew also... Love quilting.. mater of fact bought some material to make my grandbaby a quilt.. but have yet to get started on it.. I just feel guilty doing stuff like that when my home needs to be cleaned so bad. ya know. Dang Guilt thing again.

Hi there,

I love to paint in acrylics.  Also do wood burning and make jewelry.  I have done a little stone carving, have a rock saw that I make slabs with .  Makes cool jewelry.  I also do beads and use silver wire in my jewelry.  I haven't done any of it in a long time due to working, but hope to get back at it as I am off on puppy leave for the winter.  Getting a puppy in March.  I am so excited about it. 

Since I am off work, I plan to get back into painting, I have a lot of unfinished work. 

I am so happy to see this post.

I have done acrylic oil painting and silk floral arrangements in the past.  Now genealogy is my love.

I used to make jewelry, now when the mood strikes I'll sketch or watercolor. Writing

poetry is something I also enjoy. Taking time to enjoy any of my hobbies helps relieve

stress.

I like making mosaic art and painting abstract paintings. I haven't done either in a long time. I also like do it yourself home decorating. Our kids are moving out soon, so I will get to redo their room and my office.

I love crafts too! Even with fibro, I've found that I can still work with my hands comfortably. I love to make beaded jewelry, crochet, loom knit, paint small village houses for my Christmas village, and things of that nature. I also like to make Christmas ornaments for my tree and my family's trees. I do find that my crafting helps to relieve some of my stress. It always feels good to finish something and see what I've accomplished. Feel free to email me if you want to talk about more crafting! I'd love to get into quilting someday!

I have had to give up a lot of my hobbies. My main thing lately was making cards, but have quit that also. I just don't have the energy and with brain fog it is hard to come up with ideas.
I hope to get back to it once I get this fibro under control a little. I have decided that I have WAY TOO MUCH stuff. Right now I am going through all my paper, stamps, stickers etc. I think that I just get overwhelmed, so I'm going back to basics.
Thanks for the posts. It gives me hope that someday I'll be able to do crafts again.

I'm a crafty person too! I love knitting and I'm pretty good at sewing though I don't do it often. I did embroidery for awhile but these days it's mostly knitting. My boyfriend's sister is having her first baby in April and I'm determined to knit him a menagerie of stuffed animals. The fibro bothered my wrists for awhile which gave me trouble with knitting but as long as I pace myself it usually isn't a problem anymore.

i love cold porcelain clay i make pendants and mini projects with it ( Its a homemade clay)
i make game tile pendants
origami party favors and card toppers and pendants greeting cards
3d decoupage cards and name meaning wall hangings with cds as a base!

I'm sorry, Paperprincess.  We don't allow pictures on the forum.  They take up too much space and our space is limited here.  We had the site crash a few months ago so we have to be careful.

I create decorated ceramic tile coasters, I enjoy papercrafts such as stamping and card making, and I'd like to get into beaded jewelry making as well. My husband makes homemade soap, so we're hoping to market this as a business - I'll be creating the website and logo, etc.

Is there a place where we can share pictures of crafts we've created?

I make nylon stocking flowers/orchids/tropical flowers such as proteas. I also make orchid and other types of flowers with air dry clay. I use Luna clay, thai clay mixing them to soften the flower petals with Deco Clay. I us thee water based oil paint(winston) to color the clay thee n highlight the flowers with more paint.(WWW..flowerclay.com) will show the flowers I make.
I can make them while watching t.v. I can still play the piano, have problems standing long doing dishes or cooking...I will myself healthy when I have to drive my granddaughter to ballet and piano.
I'm talking to the choir but having FMS hurts like the devil.
I'm on lyrica but it doesn't do jack....I've only had it for 2 months and sometimes I think death is the only cure.
