I take magnesium capsules for Lexapro withdrawal. I bought a monster bottle of 500mgs which was too high a dosage for me. Instead of throwing them away, I have been
opening up the capsules, dumping half of the powder out, then putting the gelatin capsule back together. I did that this morning...about
a half hour later, I let out a breath and this white, powdery mist came flying out of my mouth. I thought I was going to pass out...couldn't even logically think of what this could be. I am assuming it was the magnesium...that the capsule didn't dissolve right or didn't go all the way down...I choked half to death last week using this wonderful method as the jagged capsule got stuck in my throat and I literally had to drink a gallon of hot water to dissolve the stupid thing. Yes, I am a moron and am going to buy the right dosage and throw the rest of these gigantic &*(^% in the garbage. I just hope that's what is was. Have never had that happen before in my life. It was like this wandering ghost floating out of my mouth...maybe I'm possessed...LOL!
I am betting not a one of you have ever had this happen before. It's funny...just yesterday I called the pharmacist and asked why my antibiotic bottle had a warning on it to not sit or lay down for a half hour after taking the pill. (I didn't want to get up at 2 in the morning to take a pill and have to walk around for a half hour) She said because the gelatin capsules don't dissolve properly unless you are standing. Hmmm.
