I'm sorry you are having the muscle pain. Is it like cramping? I used to get really bad cramping in my legs and feet and my doctor put me on a quinine tablet when I had the problem and that helped. BUT, I was diagnosed with osteoporosis and needed to take more calcium. I switched to Citracal because it is absorbed easier and I started taking two a day...one in the morning and one in the evening. And you know what? My leg cramping stopped! I checked it out and low levels of calcium can cause cramping. Sooooo, it can't hurt but it could help!
I use malic acid/magnesium supplements and they have helped me. Chutz, make sure you eventually work your way up to three a day. It's at that level that it helps with pain from fibro!
