don't know where to post this numbness on top of head after getting hit in forehead with a board

i was hit in the head with a boar the other day. on the lower forehead. now a wedge shape of scalp on the top of my head itches and feals numb or tingly when i touch it. has anyone heard of this happening before. hit my self hard enough to black eye and cheek eye swelled shut. blasted kitchen cabinets.... didn't go to dr. uninsured any info would be a great help// ohh like i said new to board could not figure whrer to post this sooorrrryyyyy blush

Hi, Shiggles, and welcome! We don't have any forums on HealingWell that cover accident-type things. I think you should see a doctor. Any trauma to the head could spell big problems. Please get it checked out. It might only be something like traumatized nerves causing the problem but I'm not a doctor and I don't think you should fool around with this. Remember the actress that fell while skiing and hit her head? She ended up passing on because she thought she was fine. I don't mean to frighten you but I also don't want to make light of a head injury.

Please let us know what you find out. We really do care.

I agree - see doctor! The numbness could be from swelling on the brain. I would expect any head injury that bad to cause some numbness, but anything that lasts for more than a few hours is serious. See a doctor, then post to let us know you are okay!
