Does anyone have eye problems?

Hi everyone. I haven't posted in a while because my grandson was born on April 7th and have been busy with them. Everything went fine until we found out he had ABO Jaundice. Everything is almost normal now, thank God.

Anyway, this morning I woke up with what seemed to cover a small area in my vision in my left eye. It was like I had a spot of blindness, no pain. Then it was like I couldn't focus with either eye. Plus I had like a flashing of light in my lower left field of vision. Again no pain. It was like a migraine was coming on, but didn't make it to the headache. Now it's cleared up. I have been in a flare-stress with the new g-baby, temperature & weather changes, allergies, my period, etc. My BP was normal. I didn't feel any pain anywhere at the time all this was going on...just freaky scary. I've had no changes in my meds, foods etc.

Thank you Debbie. It's gone now, thank God! I feel good, but with some pain in my body so I'm just taking it easy today. If it happens again I'm calling my doc. The weather, my cycle and everything in between affects what hurts, feels off, etc. It may just be something I'm going through, but I will be making phone calls if it happens again.

There is something called an Opthalmic Migraine or an Ocular Migraine. It sounds like you may have had something similar happen. They are more common in people who have regular migraines.

I don't have regular migraines, but I have had Opthalmic ones. The first time I had one it really freaked me out, but it went away quickly. I've only had 2-3 in the past few years.
