Oh, I forgot to mention knees and hips, too, in my post above. There are periods where I have to lean on a cane to get to the bathroom. But, once I'm up and moving, it's better. I have Crohn's and this has never been attributed to Crohn's.
Stress and anxiety definitely can cause pain...and a lot of it. That's why we've been telling you to try to relax and not worry about things so much. I do understand, having lost your brother, but that doesn't mean something is going to happen to you. I think you are mentally examining every part of your body and the stress can bring on symptoms, too. That's what I was writing about in another thread to you. Your mind can conger up a lot of things and illnesses and your anxiety is playing into this. Then you start convincing yourself that you have other illnesses and stress takes hold. That's not a good way to live your life.
Make a list of your concerns. Make an appointment to go in and sit down to talk to your doctor. Let them know all you are worried about and then hopefully they will run any needed tests to rule out what you are worried about. But, you do need to relax.
You are young and you can have a wonderful life ahead of you. I've not been a healthy person nearly all of my life but yet I've had a great life so far. I learned early on to knock off the worry and then just worked around my illnesses to do things I want to do. If I can do that, anyone can...really! I was a basket case at one time. When the anxiety starts to well up inside you, get busy! Dismiss the anxiety for what it is...fear....and then focus on something besides your health. Take up hobbies, go for a walk or head to the mall and browse around. I love doing genealogy. This really does help, Mary.
