Does anyone use these and if so do you find that they help out? I ran into a woman I use to work with today and she was telling me today she uses them and they do help a bit.

My dr. gives me these to deal with pain in addition to pain pills that I have to take occasionally. I cut the patches in smaller portions and place them on the area that hurts the most. I have lots of lower back and shoulder blade areas. To me, they are worth a try.

They can be expensive if you do not have a good insurance co-pay plan. SO, ask your dr. for a sample or only get 1 or 2 to try and see if it gives you relief before you fill a really expensive RX.

I have used them before, and they do help some. They didn't help me a whole lot, but it did help none the less.

Give them a try and see if they help you. I hope that they do.

I had them after I had botox injections in my neck and a facet nerve rhizotomy also in my neck done. They helped with the pain from these procedures, but made me somewhat nauseated. I never thought to try them for fibro pain. Not sure if the upset stomach would be worth it though. Let us know if you try them and if they work. Take care.

I've used Lidoderm patches for the 4 years. The patches combined with ES Tylenol or Ultram provide me the most relief. Unfortunately Lidoderm patches can only be worn for 12-14 hours at a time (12 hours on and 12 hours off) and only 3-4 patches at a time. The patches work primarily in the area of application, so if it's put on the arm it will not help the leg.

They are expensive (fortunately I've got a good RX insurance) but I believe using Lidoderm patches has helped me from progressing to stronger pain medication.
