Hi It's greyhounsd mom and I haven't been on much but I read the forums often for help. Okay here goes. My daughter abd I both have fibro abd we have been dealing with it pretty well. Unfortuately my daughter who is 39 years old had a stroke on the 4th of july. One in 2 million and only 10 percent survive on this kind of a stroke that she had. She survived very nicely. Doing well walking but her speech is pretty much impaired. Words do not come out like she wants them to. I just feel sooo bad because she is dealing with fibro and now dealing with this. I need advice to help her with this. I toke her to social security to get disablitiy. She certainly deserves it since she also has a child to supports. They said she should have no problem getting it, but it takes a long time to be approved. Right now my mail concern is helping her deal with this. Any advice! She is going to get speech therapy and physical. What I need is support knowniong that she will be okay in time. Thanks for listening. She is a great person who is so loved.
